What the heck does it do?
Marketplace searches Craigslist for you. Simple? Well yes. But it does more than that too.
It remembers your searches so if you tend to do the same searches over and over again, then Marketplace makes life a lot better. Marketplace also lets you search in many regions at once so if you have many regions around you, or you don't care where the results are from, then Marketplace makes life a lot better. And then there's other stuff like filtering and favorites that Craigslist just doesn't have, all of which make life a lot better.
The moral of the story: Marketplace makes life a lot better for people who use Craigslist a lot.
How do I use this thing?
Just click the plus button in the lower left hand corner of the window. Enter what you're searching for, the category to search, and the regions you want to look in.
I'm not getting results. This is lame.
Craigslist will go down from time and if that happens, Marketplace can't do its search. If you're sure Craigslist is up and Marketplace still isn't giving you results, you may have found a bug. Email me and I'll fix it.
Why should I pay money for Marketplace when Craigslist is free?
See "How do I use this thing?" above. Marketplace makes Craigslist searching much faster, easier, and less ugly.
What's your upgrade policy?
Upgrades are free for minor updates (1.0 -> 1.1), but paid for major updates (1.1 -> 2.0). Licensed users will be offered a discounted rate for those major updates.
Can I post listings from Marketplace?
Sadly no. Maybe in the future, though...
Is Marketplace the bee's knees?
Quite possibly. Only time will tell.
